Conclusion and Affirmation
Conclusion
When I started SJSU in the spring of 2010, I never imagined that I would be where I am now. I have grown as a writer, as a researcher, and overall, as an individual. This process of an eportfolio was extremely daunting at first. However, as I continued to write and as I sought help with another pair of eyes to look over my writings, it seemed to get easier. Through this process I have gained insight into the fields of information, libraries, and archives and I now know that I can apply the skills that I have learned at SJSU, my work, and other various places.
My classes have shown both my strengths and weaknesses. I have shown strength in group work, research, and certain areas such as preservation and reference. However, I have struggled as well. It is this acknowledgement of the areas in which I need to improve that make me a better student and a better professional. Using my strengths, I hope to work towards the goals that I discussed in my statement of philosophy in order improve myself and also to improve the institution in which I am employed.
